How did I get here?

How did I get to such a position?

It's funny how so much can change in a short amount of time.

One day you're broken with nothing and nowhere to go.

The next you're in a luxurious home with all you could ever imagine for.

One would say it's impossible to jump up to that level so quickly, unless you won the lottery.

I didn't.

I simply met a certain someone because of fate.

And since then my life has been turned around, upside-down.

And I don't know if I'd like it any other way.

"Ten!" The word rolled off my lips in ecstasy.

A warm hand wrapped around my throat and forced me to stand up, taking me off the lap I loved most. Dark chocolate eyes looked into mine the way I loved it - hot, sensual, passionate - with love, pride, and adoration.

Warm lips wrapped around mine, giving me a sensual kiss.

"I hope you've learned from your punishment," his deep sensual voice said.

Biting my lip, I nodded.

He smirked, making me bite my lip harder. "Good."

Uncuffing my hands and releasing them from my behind, he picked me up in his arms and carried me through the house until we reached my room. Putting me in bed and placing the duvet over me, he kissed my forehead then gripped onto my hair tightly.

"Don't ever do that again," he growled, though his eyes showed his true feelings.

I smiled softly. "I won't."

Letting go of me, he turned off the lights and shut the door behind him as he left. Once he was gone, I sighed in content.

This was my life now after the journey of emotions I had... and I couldn't ask for it in any other way.

Holding onto the necklace which laid over my breasts, I shut my eyes and let sleep take over me.

Although it wasn't always, everything was perfect with my controlling lover.
